About This Course
The Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification, awarded by the Project Management Institute (PMI)®, is globally recognised as the gold standard for project management competency. Earning the PMP credential signals to employers and clients alike that you possess the skills, experience, and discipline to lead projects of any scale and complexity — across industries, geographies, and delivery methodologies.
TrainingComplex's PMP Preparation course is purpose-built to bridge the gap between day-to-day project experience and the structured knowledge required to excel in the PMP examination. Over five intensive days, participants work through all three performance domains — People, Process, and Business Environment — while developing fluency in both predictive (waterfall) and agile/hybrid project approaches, which together now make up the full scope of the PMP exam.
The course goes beyond rote memorisation. Facilitators use real-world project scenarios drawn from construction, IT, finance, health, and public-sector contexts to contextualise PMBOK® Guide principles, Agile Practice Guide concepts, and PMI's Examination Content Outline. Participants engage in timed mock exams, situational question analysis, and structured study planning so that they leave not only knowing the material, but knowing how to apply it under exam conditions.
Whether you are sitting for the PMP for the first time or retaking the exam, this programme provides a structured, supportive, and highly practical preparation environment. Upon completion, participants receive a TrainingComplex Certificate of Completion and 35 Professional Development Units (PDUs) / Contact Hours — fulfilling PMI's mandatory education requirement for PMP application.

- At least 35 hours of project management education or training (fulfilled upon completion of this course)

Training Methodology
- TrainingComplex's PMP Preparation course employs a high-engagement, exam-simulation methodology that mirrors the structure and pace of the actual PMP examination. Each day combines facilitator-led instruction with collaborative case study analysis, group problem-solving exercises, and individual practice question sets drawn from PMI-aligned question banks. Participants take at least two full-length, 180-question timed mock exams under controlled conditions, followed by detailed facilitator-led debriefs that explain the reasoning behind correct and distractor answers. Agile and hybrid scenarios are woven throughout the programme rather than treated as a separate module, reflecting their integration in the current ECO. Study group sessions, domain mapping exercises, and take-home revision materials ensure that learning continues beyond the classroom. The blended delivery model allows in-person participants to benefit from face-to-face coaching while online participants engage via an interactive live-virtual platform with full access to polls, breakout rooms, and shared whiteboards.

What study materials will I receive?
Participants receive a comprehensive course workbook, domain summary cards, a formula reference sheet, access to an online PMI-aligned question bank with over 900 practice questions, and two full-length mock exams. All digital materials remain accessible for 90 days after the course.
How soon after completing the course should I sit the PMP exam?
We recommend scheduling your PMP exam within four to six weeks of completing the course while the content is fresh. Our facilitators will advise you on booking through PMI's online portal and suggest a final revision schedule to maintain readiness in the lead-up to your exam date.
